Tomorrow I begin a 5-part series about the Pro Football Hall of Fame and the Buffalo Bills dynasty of the late 80s and early 90's that went to 4 straight Super Bowls. Bill Polian had assembled a roster of great players yet, only their head coach Marv Levy and three players (Kelly, Smith and Thomas) have a bust in Canton Ohio. Had the Bills won a couple of those Super Bowls then undoubtedly there would be more. As it stands right now, Andre Reed is the only player left from that Bills team who is getting series consideration for induction (and I believe in time Reed will indeed become a Hall of Famer).
However, besides Reed, there are five Buffalo Bills from the glory years who it can be argued belong in the HOF. So stay tuned because over the next week I will analyze the case for and against these potential Hall of Famers.
